Write 1/2y - 1/3x -1=0 in general form

-3x + 2y = 1

2x + 4/5y = 3

the equation you giving is there, just need to move them to one side

I'm assuming you mean standard:

First rearrange:
-1/3x + 1/2y -1 = 0
Transfer over 1:
-1/3x + 1/2y = 1
Divide by negative:
1/3x - 1/2y = -1
Multiply by six:
2x - 3y = -6

2x - 3y = -6
