Why does the farmer agree to sell gulliver to the queen?

Gulliver was discovered by the fermer in a land of giants (Brobdingnag). The farmer initially treats him as little more as an animal, keeping him for amusement. Then  Gulliver become ill and farmer was glad to sell him because he had erned a lot of money in spite of ill Gulliver.
