The conversion factor between yards to inches is 1 yard is equal to 36 inches. In converting 16.7 inches to yards, one must simply multiply it with the conversion factor.
16.7 inches *(1 yard/36 inches) =
0.463888889 yards
The answer is 0.46 yards.
