On average, Eastern Europe's population growth for the year 2050 is predicted to be positive.

Answer: This statement is false, Eastern Europe's population growth for the year 2050 is predicted to be negative.

By 2050, the number of Africans will more than double to 1.8 billion, a fifth of humanity. Asians will be in the majority, having risen from 3.7 billion to 5.2 billion. The richer countries of Europe and North America will have hardly grown at 1.2 billion.
