The menu at a pizza restaurant has two choices for size, medium or large. The restaurant has three choices for toppings, which are pepperoni, cheese, or veggie. How many possible combinations of unique pizzas are there if only one topping is allowed on a pizza?

Since there are three possible toppings for each size, and there are three sizes, there are nine possible combinations.

It would be 6 possible combinations, because 1 X 3= 3 and since there are two sizes, 3 X2 = 6
