Here's the formula you need.
This converts ANY Celsius temperature to the corresponding
Fahrenheit number.
Just write the Celsius number in place of the 'C', and then find the 'F'.

F = 1.8 C + 32 .

For the problem in the picture, you'd write

F = 1.8 (-45) + 32

and simplify it down to find 'F'.
