What does it mean that DNA replication is a semiconservative process?

A. The replicated DNA will contain totally two totally new DNA strands

B. The replicated DNA will only be half the same nucleotide order as the parent DNA

C. Only the top strand is used for DNA is used for replication

D. The replicated DNA will one strand from the parent the original DNA and one new strand
