David drew pqr and stu so that p s, pr = 12, su = 3, pq = 20, and st = 5. are pqr and stu similar? if so, identify the similarity postulate or theorem that applies.

The only answer that would make sense is side side side similarity. Did you forget to add a side length for rq and tu? If those have the same ratio then it has to be side side side similarity.

Answer:

Explanation:

In the figure attached there are two triangle PQR and STU have been given.

We have to prove both the triangle are similar.

If these two triangles will be similar if corresponding sides should have the same ratio.

(PQ)/(ST)=(PR)/(SU)

(20)/(5)=(12)/(3)

4 = 4

Hence the given triangles are similar

David drew pqr and stu so that p s, pr = 12, su = 3, pq = 20, and st = 5. are pqr-example-1
