Vesicles form from the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. They are used to transport membrane and proteins between many different membranous organelles. Vesicles form by budding from membranes of ER, Golgi and the plasma membrane.
Vesicle fusion is the merging of a vesicle with other vesicles or a part of a cell membrane.
