Europe's lumber industry is mostly located in these following countries, each stated in the order of largest woodland area: Sweden (with around 31.2 million hectares), Spain (around 27.7 million hectares), Finland (around 23.3 million hectares), France (around 17.6 million hectares), Germany (around 11.1 million hectares) and Italy (with 10.9 million hectares).
