Civil Disobedience and Rosa Parks' Buss Boycott are the examples of civil resistance. It is protesting unjust government policy in a peaceful way. In the former one Thoreau protests against taxation, in the latter one Rosa Parks protests without giving up her seat which was prohibited during that time for African-Americans.

Thoreau’s actions in "civil disobedience" and the 1955 bus boycott are similar because both Thoreau and the boycotters were fighting against racial injustice and prejudice. Thoreau was against slavery and the boycotters were against torture and segregation.
