Johannes Kepler (1571 - 1630) was a German astronomer, mathematician, physicist. At the time of his birth, it was still believed that all the planets and the Sun circle around the Earth. He not only defended the thesis that all planets, including the earth circling around the sun, but proved that the path of the circle is elliptical. He is best known for defining the physical law of movement by which the planets move. Although he himself did not call these discoveries "laws", this term is more used with the appearance of Newton's laws. He first proved that perception of the depth of the eyes, the fact that we are looking with two eyes, otherwise there is no perception of depth. Also known for the invention of the telescope.
