Translate the following problem into an equation: (1) Katie spent $1 more than mark.(2) Together they spent 5 dollars. How much did mark spend ? A.m=m+1 C. k+1=5 B. 5=K+(K+1) D. (m+1)+m=5 I think it is D :) EXPLAIN

It's D. it says Katie has 1 more than mark : m+1. Add that to what mark has, which is m. so (m+1)+m=5. 5 being the amount of money they spent together
