As stated and based on the book Thinking Critically, indeed, the idea of knowing is the ability to distinguish beliefs supported by strong reasons or evidences from beliefs for which there is less support, as well as from beliefs disproved by evidence to the contrary such as the belief that earth is flat. Knowing is wherein there is a support of conclusive evidences and belief is something that has not yet been proven.
