We are given with two functions: f(x) = 3x+2 and g(x) = x^2. To find f(g(x)), we subsitute x^2 to the x in the f(x) equation. Hence, f(g(x)) is 3x^2 +2. On the other hand, g(f(x)) is obtained by substituting 3x+2 to the x of g(x). Hence, g(f(x)) is (3x+2)^2. There is a difference between the two because they are different and the order of each combined functions also matters.
