Tom has been asked to hand out free badges. there are 34 boxes and each box contains 22 badges. he estimates he has approximately 700 badges to hand out. is this a reasonable estimation?

Therefore the total number of badges in 34 boxes= 34 times badges in 1 box


=34*22=748

Depending on how close the estimate is suppose to be to the actual answer. Since there are 34 boxes an 22 badges in each box you would multiply 34 x 22 to get 748 badges in total, 48 off from the estimate.
