What's the easiest way to add and subtract mixed numbers? it's been a while since I've done this.

The easiest way is to turn them into complete fractions. You do this by multiplying the whole number by the denominator then adding the numerator. 3 1/3 would become 10/3. Do this to both and it will make it simple to add and subtract. The only other step would be to find a common denominator which would end up being 15.
