The zeroes of the polynomial are the values of x that will make the f(x) = 0.

0 = x^2 + x - 6
Use factoring,

0 = (x + 3) (x - 2)

x + 3 = 0 and x - 2 = 0

Thus, the values of x are x = -3 and x = 2.
