None of these is really the best answer. Ozone is composed of three oxygen atoms. It is unstable, highly volatile and can readily combine with other substances such as nitrogen. In the stratosphere, it blocks UV radiation but below stratosphere, like the troposphere, it is harmful as it a pollutant which can damage our respiratory functions.
