This is the equation of a circle, centred at (1,-1), radius sqrt(3), as follows
rewrite equation as
(x-1)^2-1+(y+1)^2-1=1, or
(x-1)^2+(y+1)^2=(sqrt(3))^2
Don`t know what else you`d like to do with it. lol

The equation x2+y2-2x+2y-1=0
