How does syntax affect setting? (English 10)

Syntax affects setting, in that it refers to the arrangements of terms and how they are formulated within sentences. If the author's syntax is difficult to understand and they are writing convoluted sentences or making their writing too complicated, then this will interrupt their descriptions and make the setting harder to imagine.
