first we can factor out an x

`x(x^2 + 2x - 15)`

then we find a pair of numbers that multiply to -15 and add up to 2

this would be 5 and -3
because 5 times -3 = -15
and -3 + 5 = 2

we would then get

`x(x-3)(x+5)`

this would be you answer :)
