what is the difference between assessing blood pressure by auscultation and assessing blood pressure by palpation?

The difference between assessing blood pressure by auscultation and assessing blood pressure by palpation is by using a stethoscope for auscultation and for palpation is just using fingers to palpate the radial pulse. Both can give the diastolic and systolic pressure.
