25/4 is an improper fraction it has to be turning to a mixed number be dividing 4 into 25 how many times can 4 go into 25? then you have to see if your mixed can be simplified by finding the GCF greatest common factor

no it cannot be simplified
25/4 = 6 with a remainder of 1
25/4 = 6 1/4 = 6.25
