About 1.75 percent to about 2 percent of Earth's fresh water is frozen in ice caps and glaciers. This is a very small percentage of water relative to the total amount of water that is present on our earth. There is about 97 percent of saline water present on our earth and this water cannot be used for drinking or for the purpose of irrigation. I hope it helps you.
