What does triglycerides and phospholipids have in common.

Triglycerides and phospholipids are both esters and they are lipids, specifically fatty acids, with the same structures. Triglycerides contains three molecules of fatty acids and one molecule of glycerol while the latter contains two molecules of fatty acids and one glycerophosphate.
