The compounds CH3OCH3 and CH3CH2OH have different functional groups. Therefore, these compounds have different physical and chemical properties. CH3OCH3 is diethyl ether with a functional group ether while CH3CH2OH is ethanol with a functional group alcohol.

Answer: Physical and Chemical Properties

Explanation: The given compounds CH3OCH3 and CH3CH2OH are basically known as ISOMERS.

Isomers are the chemical compounds which have same molecular formula but different arrangement of atoms.

Thus these compounds have different chemical and physical properties like they will have different melting and point , they will be having different reactivity under the same conditions.

CH_{3} 0 CH_{3} is dimethyl ether and CH_{3} CH_{2} OH is alcohol thus talking with respect to the chemical properties, alcohol is more polar and ether is least polar.
