African slaves were brought to the Americas for the propose of hard labor. They were traded with for shells, beads, mirrors, and other small trinkets from Great Britain. The slaves were then brought by boat to America. The U.S traded molasses, sugar, animal pelts, and other assorted goods for the slaves from Europe. This was called the Triangular Slave Trade.
