so, the Area of a sphere is going be =
4π
r2
the area of a cylinder will be
2πr(h+r)
so your total area will be half of the sphere's total area that is
4π
r^2/
2
⟹2π
8^2
PLUS the cylinder's
2π8(7+8)
2π
82
+2π(8)(7)+π
82
