I would say that the lines from "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe that show that the speaker has lost hope of ever being able to move on and recover from the pain of losing Lenore are:
"Leave my loneliness unbroken! quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!"
