the answer is d. mitochondrion
known as the powerhouse of the cell, it is the site wherein the ATP's are produced starting from glycolysis down to kreb cycle and ETC or Electron transport chain. The mitochondria convert Glucose to carbon dioxide and water to produce 36-38 ATP molecule per cycle..
