What is the exact value of x in the exponential equation 2^8x − 3 = 7?

x = log4/8log2
x = 1/8log2
x= 5/8
x =log5/8

Hello,

2^(8x)-3=7
==>2^(8x)=10
==>8x log (2)=log(10)
==>8x log(2)=1

==>x=1/(8*log(2))
With parenthesis on the denominator, the answer is B.
