One of the rules of exponents is that any number raised to the zero power is 1, so
7^0 = 1

remember
x^0=1
anything to teh zero power=1
the reason is
2^3=1*2*2*3 means 3 of them
2^2=1*2*2 means 2 of them
2^1=1*2 menas 1 of them
2^0=1*no 2's means 1 of them
result is 2
