The grocer bought 154 pounds of beef at $5.00 per pound. The grocer also bought 243 pounds of ground turkey for $729.

5•154=770(beef)

243•x=729
243x=729
729/243=3
x=3

5-3=2

the beef was two dollars more than the turkey per pound
