Warm water is less dense than cold water
Temperature is nothing more than the measure of how fast molecules are moving. When something is cold, the molecules are moving very slowly and are very close together. When something is hot, the molecules are moving very quickly and are very far apart. If something is warm, it is less dense than something that is cold
