Do you think the U.S. Involvement in Vietnam was justified

No, I don't. The only reason the United states was in the war in vietnam was to contain or stop the spread of Communism. We were simply there acting as a policing country. We didn't declare war on Vietnam. Congress just pass the Tonkin gulf resolution which gave president Johnson unlimited military power.
