13. 43% of the students who auditioned received roles. It states so in the question.

14. The two choices are grilled chicken, and veggie pizza.

36% of the students voted for the veggie pizza.

Any percentage is out of 100, so we can determine what percentage voted for the grilled chicken, and compare the two.

To determine the percentage of students that voted for the grilled chicken, subtract 36% from 100%

100 - 36 = 64

64% of the students voted for the grilled chicken.

Now, let's compare the two, to see which one is bigger.

64% is bigger than 36%, which means that the grilled chicken is the entree that won the election, and will be on the lunch menu.

43% recieved roles so 43% recieved roles, this is kind of simple, I don't see how to explain it further

36% is veggie

normally bigger percent wins
grilled cheese vs veggie
grilled cheese+veggie=100%
grilled cheese+36%=100%
minu s36%
grilled cheese=64%
64% is more than 36%
grilled cheese won
