2/8=4/16 because if you multiply 8x2, it equals 16, which would then make it 4/16 and 3/16 comparable, so then you just look at which numerator (top number) is bigger, so 2/8 would be greater.

2/8 is greater. In order to figure out the answer for this, I cross multiplied. So, first, you would do 2 times 16. And 8 times 3. 2 times 16 is 32 and 8 times 3 is 24. 32 is greater than 24, and the 34 comes from 2/8. Good luck!
