You have to answer this question about your cmmunity, but I can give you an example of mine, so that you see what to do:
In many homes, when the adults are frustrated, they "take it out" on their children: they would push them, hit them or be very rough with them.
I think that the best way to combat it is to raise awareness of the bad effects of this behaviour on the children.
