How do the problem h-6+7h=42

solve for h by isolating it on one side and ask else on the other . . .

h - 6 + 7h = 42

h + 7h - 6 = 42

h(1 + 7) - 6 + 6 = 42 + 6

8h = 48

8h/8 = 48/8

h = 6
