The tables below show the values of f(x) and g(x) for different values of x:

f(x) = 2(3)x
x f(x)
−2 0.22
−1 0.67

1 6
2 18
g(x) = 3x + 3
x g(x)
−2 3.11
−1 3.33
0 4
1 6
2 12
Based on the tables, what is the solution to the equation 2(3)x = 3x + 3?

Hello,

Answer C) x=1 for 3^1+3=3+3=6 and 2*3^1=2*3=6

Without the tables:
2*3^x=3^x+3
==> 2*3^x-3^x=3
==>3^x * (2-1)=3
==>3^x=3^1
==>x=1
