The League of Nations was a very good base for starting up the United Nations. The League of Nations was developed on the basis of peace and as an attempt to prevent future wars. That's basically what the UN does now.

The Allies considered the League of Nations when developing the United Nations because the Allies wanted to understand clearly the weaknesses of the League.

In World War I, the Allies constituted the countries against the central power.

The League of Nations constituted an international organization, which headquarter was located in Geneva, Switzerland, created in the aftermath of the First World War to provide a forum in order to resolve international disputes.
