A wetland can be defined as the place which is either formed temporarily or permanently by water which has abundant amount of oxygen in it.

There are many factors that determine the wetland. Type of vegetation, type of aquatic fauna, type of soil and location and many more factors determine wetland.

Location is one of the factors but not a sole factor so the given statement is not true.
