Knowing the diameter of the can is 8cm, we can figure out the radius by dividing it by 2. The radius is 4cm. To find the volume of the can, multiply pi by radius^2 by height. (3.14)*(4)*(4)*(12)=(3.14)*(16)*(12)= (3.14)*(192)= 603 cm^3.
