Middle East is a region that is mostly in Asia- it includes Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran which are all in Asia. However, parts of it are also in Africa - notably Egypt. Because of this, it's a region that is placed on more than one continent -it's a transcontinental region
(so yes, it's in Asia, but it's also in Africa).
