Which sentence uses correct punctuation?

A. The baseball player hit the ball and, the crowd cheered.

B. The baseball player hit the ball, and the crowd cheered. (this one?)

C. The baseball player hit the ball; and the crowd cheered.

I think its B because a semicolon is to conenct 2 sentences and a comma after the and doesn't sound rigtht.

I think B is the closest, but honestly I wouldn't even have the comma there.
