Add 3.3 to both sides.
You get 5d=10.5
Then divide both sides by 5.
d=2.1

First, add 3.3 to 7.2.
7.2 + 3.3 = 10.5
You're now left with 5d = 10.5
You need to get d by itself, so you divide 5 to both sides.
Answer: d = 2.1
