The Camp David agreements were signed by Egyptian President Anwar el-Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin on September 17, 1978, after twelve days of secret negotiations with the mediation of the President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, and through the which Egypt and Israel signed the peace in the territorial conflicts between both countries.
