Hey there, 30:15, 2:4 simplified is 1:2, 15*2=30 and 1*30=30,

first you add the two parts of the ratio.
2 + 4 = 6
then you divide
30 / 6 = 5
then you multiply into the original ratio
(2 x 5) : (4 x 5)
10 : 20
