The right answer is C. Higher prices for shipping goods.

By the late 1800s, Farmers were worried about the unfair treatment they were receiving from railroad owners to ship their agricultural goods. They were in open revolt against the “system” of corrupt processors (middlemen) and “greedy” bankers who they believed conspired against them. On the other hand, railroad companies were more worried about being comprehensive with the industrial production shipment than with the agricultural goods.
